Clinique launches a nail polish collection tomorrow… ‘A Different Nail Enamel for Sensitive Skins’, formulated to minimise skin sensitivity.
Above are five of the limited edition shades for Summer 2013, from top: 70° and Sunny, Happy, Hula Skirt, Juiced Up & Splish Splash. I know it’s predictable but I can’t help being drawn to that lovely dusty coral, Juiced Up.
It never occurred to me that nail polish could irritate skin, but Clinique appear to have found a gap in the market and had the insight to fill it. I’m not sure what’s in (or absent from) the formula that differs from others, but it is dermatologist & ophthalmologist tested and deemed appropriate for sensitive skins and eyes (which you touch, not apply polish to, obvs!).
If you’re prone to skin sensitivities and wary of using beauty products, it may be worth giving this a go!
