I don’t think a single one of us is immune to occasional tired puffy eyes. Here are some peeper savers that I’ve been enjoying for a quick fix or regular ‘maintenance’.
Organic Surge Eye Gel £8.49 link - straight from the fridge this cools and soothes my eye area with a gentle tingling effect as it initially gets to work. A blend of natural skin-soothers and hydrators including the ancient herb, Eyebright, make this ideal for eyes irritated by pollen or sun exposure. Witch hazel, green tea and aloe vera and green tea all help combat puffiness, dryness and sagging.
Apivita Express Beauty with Grape £3 link - designed to be used 2-3 times a week, these little sachets are single use eye masks containing grape seed oil and wild oats to reduce expression lines around the eyes. Rice, olive oil, shea butter and beeswax help soften the skin and improve elasticity. I find these super soothing to use on tired eyes or to pep up the skin before a night out.
Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack £12.50 link - this dinky little pot of daily under-eye cream also acts as an instant de-puffer. The bouncy gel-mousse texture feels lovely on the skin and mine drinks it straight up. Botanical peptides, ‘oxyginseng’ and hydrators all help boost elasticity and firm skin around the eyes with continued use.
Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energising Eye Mask, £35.80 link - a marine collagen-infused treatment that I save for when my peepers need a serious pick me up. I guess most people would reach for this the morning after, but I like to use it before a night out to really pep up my eyes and plump the skin. This mask contains 3 oxygenated glow-enablers to brighten, de-puff and hydrate. Press the small corner to release the fluid onto the eye patches, apply and relax for 15 minutes, then walk away brighter eyed and bushy tailed!
Or you could just reach for a couple of slices of cucumber!
