Uber Pink is the latest collection by Bobbi Brown, in celebration of all things pink. I’m a great believer in the theory that everyone suits a touch of pink and no matter what make-up look I’m wearing, pink will feature somewhere; it’s all about finding the right tones for you. Uber Pink is divided into gentle, peachy pinks and brighter bold pinks. Personally, I’m loving a combination of the two.
Antigua Illuminating Bronzing Powder
For me, Antigua is the star of the show. Although rather pale in the pan, this has great colour payoff and gives a really pretty peachy pink glow to the cheeks. Officially described as a bronzer, I love this as a radiance-inducing blush, which can be extended across temples and eyelids without looking like I’ve just left the gym. Its combination of translucent powders and micro pearls are designed to deliver ‘a natural-looking glow plus a pop of soft pink’.
Sorry Bobbi, I know you’ve officially labelled this as bronzer, but If I was to design my perfect blush, this would be it. It does contain shimmer, but transfers as dewy and glowy rather than disco queen on my complexion. It packs a lot more punch than you’d think, so take it easy if you try this. I’ve been using my Real Techniques Multi Task Brush to sweep it across cheekbones and temples, then add an extra pop of pink on the apples of my cheeks.

Antigua Illuminating Bronzing Powder - full details in the ode above
Pink Kiss Lip Color - a semi-matte lipstick, which again packs more punch than I expected. I thought this would give a sheer wash of pink, but it’s quite full coverage. I’m a huge fan of Bobbi Brown lipsticks, particularly the Rich and Creamy formulas. Right now I like this one with a slick of Popsicle Gloss on top, though imagine I’ll wear it alone in Spring/Summer.
Baby Pink Lip Gloss - the kind of gloss that can be worn instead of a lipstick, this peachy pink is quite pigmented and not at all sticky or overly glossy, making it a great option for daytime. Quite Bardot-esque. The small doe-foot applicator allows for precise application for any lip shape or size.
Popsicle Sheer Color Lip Gloss - as the name suggests, this has a sheer finish making it perfect for layering over lipstick, though I really love it worn alone. Although it looks hot pink in the tube, it applies as a slightly deeper, rosier version of my natural lip colour. I like this a lot - my second favourite pick from the collection.
NB both lip glosses contain moisturising botanical extracts and have a faint vanilla scent. I have to stick my nose in the tube to catch this, but thought I’d mention incase it’s an issue (or selling point!) for anyone.
Pink Peony Nail Polish - I swatched this on Instagram today, where I described it as lip gloss for nails. I love its slightly sheer, uber glossy jelly-like texture, which is different to any I’ve tried before.
My Top 3 Picks from Bobbi Brown Uber Pink are Antigua bronzing powder, Popsicle Sheer Colour Lip Gloss and Pink Peony Nail Polish. The collection is limited edition and if I had to choose a back up of just one, it would be Antigua in a heartbeat!
Priced at £11-£27, Uber Pink is currently available at Bobbi Brown and will be on counters this month.
