Real Techniques does make-up - how exciting! I guess it was only a matter of time until make-up maestros, Sam & Nic of Pixiwoo fame extended their Real Techniques brush line into cosmetics. It took me approximately 5 minutes from hearing the news last week to ordering the Modern Naturals Makeupkit from the US - and a further 30 seconds to decide that this would make a gorgeous giveaway prize for one of my readers.
The kit includes 4 powder eye shadows in neutral, bronze and brown tones, 1 brown gel eyeliner, a peachy powder blush, champagne gold creamy highlighter and two lip glosses in gold and shimmery peach. AKA everything you need for an everyday makeup look that can easily be smoked up for evening. There’s nothing scary in there - the colours are all very natural as the name suggests and would suit most complexions. The kit itself is made from cardboard with a magnetic closing and plastic insert, pretty basic but lightweight and great for travel.
